Pilot project 2026 - 2027
Drone-Future Pilot Project – Mechelen-Zuid
In Q4 2026 and 2027, Drone-Future will conduct a pilot project in Mechelen-Zuid, Belgium, aimed at demonstrating our fully integrated drone delivery system in real-world operation.
The pilot will feature an autonomous flight covering 1.1 km, transporting a package suspended beneath a delivery drone. Our Drone-Future system will be installed at the Technopolis site, where the drone will deliver the package and our system will receive and process it. Following delivery, the package will be returned via the same autonomous flight.
This initiative positions Drone-Future as the first company globally to test such a complete drone delivery system.
Our long-term objective is to scale up operations along this route and establish the first commercial air highway for parcel delivery by drone in the region.
